About the position:

RoA is looking for a Creative Strategist to drive campaign ideation and concepting. This individual will also oversee the development of digital and physical assets across various owned / earned / paid channels. Once fully immersed in the business, they are expected to be the expert on brand storytelling and figuring how to bring the brand to life through meaningful experiences.

 

You will be the senior most creative leader in the business and will partner with the head of digital product and head of marketing.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Guide the development of marketing campaigns that leverage the brand attributes in a series of manifestations that resonate with the intended audience.
  • Develop messaging strategies that fit within a broader communication strategy, which can be used to activate new business and keep customers engaged post-purchase to grow revenue.
  • Design a content strategy and production calendar that spans all marketing channels and remains relevant for brand activations/experiences.
  • Demonstrate a results-driven approach to creative testing and learning by focusing on integrated campaign metrics (engagement, CTR, lead collection) that guarantee objectives are met.
  • Research tangible examples, industry insights/statistics, category trends, consumer behaviors and demographics to inform and support creative and strategic responses.
  • Co-author and complete briefs and design assets against campaigns objectives that neatly fit the brand voice, tone and value propositions; lead project kick-off meetings internally/externally.

Other requirements and considerations:

  • Minimum of 10+ years professional experience; exposure to retail environments preferred.
  • Direct experience driving creative strategy for various sized direct-to-consumer brands and/or editorial properties.
  • Virtual portfolio of working product, published pieces, and campaign coverage.
  • Proven track record of executing successful campaigns from end-to-end.
  • Strong attention to detail, process optimization, and creative thinking.
  • Familiarity with project management platforms to assist with systemizing creative process.
