About the position:

RoA is looking for a Senior Designer, Art Director to translate the brand into a compelling visual language that is used for all digital and non-digital marketing collateral. They should be able to produce quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment, and have the artistic instincts that would allow them to work both autonomously and collaboratively. In order to be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of graphic design, plus styles and layout techniques. You must also be able to direct all necessary components of a photoshoot, with knowledge about resourcing and production timelines.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee all design projects, from conception through delivery.
  • Run photoshoots from end to end, to refresh website, social and advertising assets and produce new concepts.
  • Design original pieces, for use across all types of marketing environments.
  • Review junior designers’ work to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Refine images, fonts, and layouts using design software.
  • Understand and apply different typography techniques.
  • Generate ideas to propose different concepts that assist with communicating core values.
  • Design with a user-forward perspective in mind for all digital products.
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout all project types.
  • Liaise with marketing and creative teams to ensure deadlines are met.

Other requirements and considerations:

  • Minimum of 8+ years professional experience; start-up exposure preferred.
  • Direct experience and classical training in graphic design for marketing purposes.
  • Virtual portfolio of completed projects, published pieces, and campaign coverage.
  • Proven track record of executing successful campaigns for a variety of clients/brands.
  • Strong attention to detail, process optimization, and creative thinking.
  • Familiarity with project management platforms to assist with systemizing creative process.
