About the Position

We are looking for a brand-obsessed, art director with an extensive digital background to further build and dimensionalize our brand. This role will report to the SVP of Marketing and Customer Experience, manage a team of creatives, and work closely with our Digital Product and Marketing teams.

 

The position is responsible for delivering high-performing, on-brand, creative assets for web, email, social media, digital acquisition ads and all physical activations and brand touchpoints.  We’re looking for someone who wants to meaningfully contribute to our business and is looking for the right place to do it all. What you’ll do...

  • Establish the creative vision – Concept and execute brand and direct-to-consumer marketing initiatives.  Includes but not limited to messaging, campaigns, visual aesthetic, events, collaborations.
  • Create marketing and brand assets – Oversee and execute the creation of emails, website elements, videos, digital ads, print collateral, packaging, activations etc.   
  • Lead the creative team – Manage and develop a team of designers and creatives
  • Effectively communicate & prioritize initiatives alongside the Creative Producer
  • Art Direct photo/video shoots for brand and acquisition marketing.  
  • Concept, identify talent and partner with the Creative Producer to execute and manage post-production (selects, retouching, final assets etc.)
  • Design visual elements for the website – Collaborate with the digital product team on landing pages, new layouts and functionality, site enhancements, etc to optimize site conversion and increase consumer spend.
  • Manage and continue to develop brand style guide.

Other Requirements and Considerations

  • 8-10 years of related experience.
  • Startup, direct-to-consumer and/or e-commerce experience preferred.
  • Strong business acumen – creates with an eye towards results while pushing the brand forward.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Google Docs, Sketch/Zeplin, Dropbox, Unbounce.
  • Working knowledge and/or ability to execute motion graphics.
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally with demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Ability to illustrate is preferred.
